In 2017 I wanted to start a YouTube channel but pulled out because I thought the platform was too saturated and competitive for new channels to thrive. I should have been brave. I have seen accounts that started as early as ten months back grow to over 200,000 subscribers and millions of views with basic videos they recorded using their average phone cameras.

YouTube is still a huge opportunity to exploit. You can start a YouTube channel in a specific niche and make money from it. Even though it doesn’t pay off soon and requires hard work with patience, the yields are worth it.

You can make money on YouTube selling affiliate products and from YouTube adverts. It is also a great platform to sell your services or products. Some of the best products you can sell on YouTube are digital products.

Come to think of it, how many times do you search for something on google? If someone didn’t write about it would you have the answers? Of course not. That’s how important blogs are and to this day they answer all rising questions.

Find a niche that you are passionate about and start a blog about it. Invest your time, knowledge, and patience into growing the blog then thank me later.

Sign up on Fiverr, Upwork, freelance.com, and other platforms to start making money.

One thing to note is that it requires effort and patience to make a significant income as a freelancer. Start with the low-paying gigs and deliver the best service. It is the reviews from these low-paying gigs that will qualify you for high-paying gigs where the real money is.

If you go on to bid for high-paying gigs without building your profile, freelancers with good profiles will beat you out of the bid.

If you grow your profile on freelance platforms, you can a six figure income freelancing. It does not take long if you get good reviews.

9. Become a web designer.

Gone are the days of sitting down the whole day to write blocks of code in the name of designing a website. It has become easier than ever. If someone tells you he is a web designer, do not take them for a genius. It is no longer a game of computer geniuses.

Influencer marketing has become one solid form of marketing companies use. It is a form of marketing where companies pay people who have strong influence online to endorse a product or service. Influencers usually influence specific niches or fields.

The more specific your niche is, the easier it becomes to get gigs. Take for instance if you usually post on your social media platforms about traveling and have a huge following, hotels, tour and travel companies, lodges, etc will pay you to advertise for them.

Earnings here depend on the size of your audience and the product you are dealing with. They can be very lucrative however. Some influencers earn as much as $1000 for just a tweet of 280 characters.

It will require you to invest in quality content to grow a huge following but with the right strategy, you can do that in a few months.
